Description

Day & Night Earrings have a crescent moon stitched in blue variegated thread onto a green and white floral fabric circle & a sun stitched in yellow variegated thread onto a green and white floral fabric circle.

All of the jewelry is created using an intuitive stitching approach with no plan or outline. I handmake each piece with inspiration from the medium, fabric and thread, and my wild life on the road.

The embroidered fabric is framed in tiny 2.5cm round wooden embroidery hoops fastened with tiny brass nuts and bolts and nickel free ear wires.

Each of the Day & Night Earrings weighs 0.1 grams.

Due to the nature of this process, each piece of jewelry is a one of a kind piece. Handmade items, by nature have imperfections. Based on the creative nature, each item will look a little different from the next. This is one of the many things that makes handcrafted work unique.
